Slow Food Auckland are very excited to bring you a Polish Pierogi Workshop. It will be a very delicious experience that takes you to the heart of Polish cuisine.

The workshop will give a brief history of pierogi and after a demonstration from Angelina it’s your turn to make pierogi – Ruski (cheese onion and potato) and kapusta z grzybami (sauerkraut and mushrooms).  You will get to see how pierogi are cooked, fried and presented and then enjoy a delicious meal – fried pierogi alongside Bigos (hunter’s stew).

Take home the pierogi recipe and a dozen pierogi you have made – to cook and eat at home and of course your newly acquired pierogi making skills.

Our amazing hosts are Angelina Peters from Taste of Poland, a catering business specialising in Polish Cuisine and Regina Wypych, Auckland Polish Association Executive member, Food Writer, Registered Nutritionist, and expert pierogi consumer.
