Japanese Cooking Class at Pine Valley

Slow Food Waitakere member Kazuyo Friedlander invites SF members and friends to a wonderful cooking class
 with Chikako Dean.

Chikako has been teaching Japanese Cuisine both in the UK and NZ, this is the menu that she has designed for
 Slow Food Waitakere:


Buttercup croquets
Daikon Radish Ume mayonnaise salad
Sesame flavoured stir fry capsicums 
Marinated celery in sweet vinegar
Rolled Rice in Nori- 2 kinds
Chicken mince balls skewer
Omelette with Surimi inside
Mustard flavoured Broccoli 
Salmon Saute in fragrant sauce

In addition to this, there will be a demonstration of Tofu making and tasting.
